Secretary-General launches Youth 2030: The United Nations Youth Strategy
We are excited to announce that the Secretary-General will launch Youth 2030: The United Nations Youth Strategy during the 73rd session of UNGA on Monday, September 24, 2018.
The UN Youth Strategy is particularly special because it is an unprecedented effort that aims to guide the entire UN-System as it steps up its work to empower young people to realize their full potential and ensure their engagement and meaningful participation.
The High Level Event "Youth 2030" on 24 September 2018 marks the beginning of a new and improved way of working with and for young people to ensure that the UN's work delivers for those we serve. A UN fit for purpose, is a UN fit for youth!
